
AISI D7 High-Carbon Cold-Work Tool Steel
AISI D7 — high-V D3 with 4 % V, highest abrasive wear in D-series. Compare with D2, D5 for granulator rotors on filled plastics and mineral wool.

Daido DC53 — D2 refinement with 2× toughness, HRC 60–62, better grindability. Compare with D2 and SKD11 for high-precision slitter blades.

AISI H11 (UNS T20811) — 5 % Cr hot-work tool steel, HRC 48–53, tougher than H13. Compare with H13, H21 for hot shear blades and aluminium die-casting dies.

AISI H13 (UNS T20813) — the standard die-casting / hot-shear grade, HRC 48–54, hot hardness to ~600 °C. Compare with H11 and H21.

AISI M1 (UNS T11301) — tungsten-free Mo HSS, HRC 63–65. Compare with M2, M3, M35 for slitter blades and drills where M2 is overkill.

AISI M3 — high-V HSS (2.75–3.25 % V), HRC 64–66. Compare with M2, M4, M35 for highly abrasive cutting tools.
